A youth who was injured on April 9, the day of by-polls in Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency during clashes in Baroosa village of Ganderbal District has succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS Soura on Tuesday night.
He has been identified Muzaffar Ahmad Mir, who was in his early twenties and a resident of Zangalpora Kulgam in Southern Kashmir, reports said.
Muzaffar had bullet injury and was battling with life and death in Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital, sources said.
Pertinently, on the same day in Baroosa, another youth was injured.
He was identified as Omar Farooq, 22, a trucker.
Sources said that Muzzafar was working with Omar .
The body of Muzaffar has reached to his native village. Locals said that after the news spread in the area a pal of gloom has draped around.
On April 9, the day of by-polls in Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency eight people were killed in clashes with the forces and more than one hundred sustained injuries. Some of the injured are still in the hospital.
By the death of Muzaffar, the death toll has reached to nine.
