SRINAGAR: A man from Villgam village in North Kashmir’s Kupwara was found dead on the roadside near Barthana Qamarwari area of Srinagar on Wednesday morning, officials said.
An official said that the body was spotted by locals, who then informed the police.
A police team arrived at the scene shortly after. The deceased was later identified as Imtiaz Ahmad, son of Ab Khaliq from Villgam, Kupwara.
The official added that an investigation has been initiated, with preliminary findings suggesting he may have died from exposure to the winter chill. (KNO)
