Kashmir University Teachers Association (KUTA) Thursday strongly condemned the alleged assault on one of the senior faculty members of Kashmir University by “some hooligans” late Wednesday evening.
“The assault on the residential quarter of the Professor has traumatised him and his family; KUTA has taken a strong notice of the incident,” the statement said.
Expressing sympathy with the victim family, the statement said, “KUTA expresses its resentment against such incidents before the authorities and demand strict action against such unscrupulous elements.”
