SRINAGAR: A labourer who sustained critical injuries after falling from an under-construction house in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Srinagar on Monday morning, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, a resident of Mitrigam, Pulwama.
Officials said Shah was initially taken to District Hospital Pulwama following the accident on July 19 (Sunday). Owing to the severity of his injuries, he was later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment.
Despite the efforts of doctors, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Monday, officials said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (JKNS)
