SRINAGAR: A labourer died on Saturday after a tree he was cutting fell on him at Nilla Najwan Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports said that a laborer was cutting a poplar tree at Nilla Najwan Kangan, which fell on him, leaving him critically injured.
The labourer identified as Jalaluddin, son of Muhammad Yaqoob of Wusan Kangan was rushed to Sub District Hospital Kangan where he was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case under relevant sections. (KNO)
