SRINAGAR: A 50-year-old labourer was killed after a wall collapsed at a crusher unit in the Mendhar area of Poonch district on Wednesday, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Tasaduq Hussain, son of Said Mohammad, a resident of Mendhar.
Officials said Hussain was working at the crusher unit when the wall suddenly collapsed and fell on him.
He was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Medical Officer Dr Javid Iqbal Choudhary confirmed that the labourer was brought dead to the hospital.
Further proceedings have been initiated in the matter. (GNS)
