SRINAGAR: The Administration of the Ladakh has ordered a series of transfers, postings, and additional charge assignments among JKAS officers with immediate effect, in the interest of administrative efficiency.
As per Government Order No. 186-LA(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, Ghulam Mohd has been posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Kargil, and will continue to hold the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Kargil Development Authority.
Shabir Hussain, presently serving as Joint Director Information and Nodal Officer for DILRMP, has been assigned the additional charge of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil.
Zakir Hussain, Joint Director in the School Education Department, has been relieved of the additional charge of Joint Director, Hospitality and Protocol.
Meanwhile, AG Zargar, General Manager, DIC Leh, has been given the additional charge of Joint Director, Hospitality and Protocol.
All officers have been directed to assume charge of their respective postings immediately until further orders.
