Ladakh in Kashmir region of Jammu and Kashmir continues to be gripped in cold wave, while as night temperatures dipped further at most places.

Leh recorded the night’s lowest temperature at minus 16.1 degrees Celsius while neighbouring Kargil recorded a minimum temperature of minus 11.4, Met office said.
Drass town was the coldest in the Jammu and Kashmir at minus 20.8.
Srinagar, the summer capital of the state recorded a low of minus 4.8 while the mercury in Qazigund in south Kashmir settled at a low of minus 5.2 degrees Celsius.
Kokernag town recorded a low of minus 4.9 degrees Celsius while Kupwara town in north Kashmir registered a low of minus 5.8 degrees Celsius last night.
The tourist resort Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded a minimum temperature of minus 8.3 and minus 8.3 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Jammu recorded a low of 4.4 degrees Celsius while Batote recorded 1.5, Banihal recorded 3.5, and Bhaderwah recorded minus 1.5 degree Celsius.
The Met department has forecast cold, dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir during the next seven days.
