Lady Charred To Death In Srinagar

Baranti Jena, wife of Ct S K Jena of 4^th Bn BSF, died at a 92 base hospital where she was admitted after receiving severe burn injuries while she was filling oil to kerosene heater, a police statement said.

Ct S K Jena was attached with BSF officers mess at BSF Camp Panthachowk, Srinagar. The couple resided in government quarter No 64 at BSF Camp Panthachowk, Srinagar.

However, police informed that it has inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC.
