A lady from Islamabad ended her life while a girl attempted to ends her life in Kupwara Saturday evening while a girl in North Kashmir attempted to end her life, police said Sunday evening.
A lady (name withheld) resident of Anchidora, Islamabad consumed some poisonous substance at Anzwallah. The lady breathed her last while on way to hospital.
In a bid to end her life, a girl (name withheld) a resident of Poshwara, Kupwara has consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment, where from she was referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment.
Meanwhile, one person died while five others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
In Pulwama, an unknown load carrier hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13B-3982 at Dargund Rajpora, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Shabir Ahmad Ganie resident of Drabgam and a pillion. Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment.
In Ganderbal, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01G-2310 driven by Fayaz Ahmad Malla resident of Bagu, Rampora hit and injured a pedestrian Rafiqa resident of Daderhama at Daderhama. In this accident pillion Qaisar Ahmad Malla resident of Bagu, Rampora also got injured. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
In Kupwara, a motorcycle bearing registration number Tn-25Q-5583 driven by Sheer Ali Khatan resident of Gagal hit and injured a minor girl Toiba Zahoor resident of Maidanpora at Maidanpora near Government Hospital. The injured girl was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
In Baramulla, a Tractor without registration number met with an accident at flood channel Jeel bund Singhpora, resulting in on spot death of its driver Mysar Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Rehman resident of Singhpora, Pattan.
