A lady dies while six other persons were injured in different road traffic accidents in the valley. A police statement said on Monday.
A Truck bearing registration number JK13A/1398 hit a pedestrian Zareena wife of Hafizullah resident of New Lite colony, Sopore at Amargarh Tarzoo Sopore, resulting in her on spot death. Sopore Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK04A/473 hit and injured a pedestrian Nusrat Akhter daughter of Mohammad Shafi Mir resident of Kalshepora at village Kalshepora, in Budgam. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, in another accident, five persons were injured when a SRTC Bus bearing registration number JK01Y/435 and a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05/8473 collided at Nadihal, Bandipora. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
