While a lady killed herself by consuming poison in Kupwara, police recovered a body in Kulgam.
A lady attempted to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance in Kupwara District, police said.
In an attempt to end her life, a 35 years old lady, whose name police did not reveal, and resident of Khumryial consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was rushed to SMHS, Hospital Srinagar where she breathed her last.
Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
In another incident, police said they recovered a female body in DH Pora area of Kulgam district.
The body was later identified as that of Saima Akther daughter of Abdul Gaffar Shiekh resident of Adijan. It was recovered from an orchard at village Adijan, in the jurisdiction of police station D.H. Pora. Police as started inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain her cause of death.
