In a surprise visit, Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment Choudhary Lal Singh on Sunday paid a visit at former CM late Mufti Sayeed’s grave in Bijbehara on Sunday.
He was accompanied by late Mufti’s brother Mufti Amin.
Mufti Sayeed breathed his last on January 07, 2016 in AIIMS, New Delhi after protracted illness. He headed PDP-BJP government for over nine months which assumed office on March Ist 2015.
Lal Singh was earlier in the day received by scores of Forest department official at Jawahar tunnel.
The minister also held number of meetings in Islamabad and visited forest nursery at Bijbehara from where he visited late Mufti’s grave.
