Terming these allegations baseless that ‘land-grabbers’ are enjoying his patronage, National Conference senior leader Ali Mohammad Sagar Tuesday said that he does not know anything about those people who tried to occupy a portion of SDA land in Sangarmal City Centre.

“How could I support these land-grabbers when I even don’t know them. I rule out this possibility and all these allegations are baseless,” Sagar told CNS adding that he is aware about the plight of shopkeepers who run their business in Sangarmal City Centre.

Pertinently, some people tried to occupy the SDA land near Sangarmal City Centre on Sunday night.

Sagar said that he has taken up the issue about the plight of Sangarmal shopkeepers with Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand and now he is going to talk to Urban and Local Bodies Minister Nawang Rigzin Jora.

“I know that Sangarmal shopkeepers are facing difficulties in running their business and I am intending to take up their issue with the government,” Sagar said adding that land-grabbers don’t enjoy their patronage.
