Jammu-Srinagar Highway was closed for vehicular movement Saturday after hit by a landslide triggered by heavy rains in Udhampur district.
The closure of the Highway stranded vehicles, suspended the ongoing Amarnath Yatra.
The traffic police official said that heavy rains triggered a massive landslide closing the 300-km long Jammu-Srinagar Highway at Kheri in Udhampur district late last night.
Meanwhile Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is said to be on task to clear blocks on the route.
