A four member delegation of the representatives of the shri amarnath barfani langar organisation (SABLO) met the Governor NN Vohra Saturday at Raj Bhavan. The delegation, which was led by Rajan Gupta, general secretary of SABLO, discussed the facilities to be provided to the pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra 2013 with the Governor.
Vohra emphasised that food to be provided to the pilgrims should be healthy and prepared and served in hygienic conditions, keeping in consideration the topographic and climatic conditions around the Yatra area.
“Langar service, at each of the identified places, should be ensured to operate till the conclusion of the pilgrimage, to avoid any inconvenience to the Yatris,” Governor told visiting delegation..
Vohra also appreciated SABLO’s role in contributing towards Shri Amarnathji Shrine board’s initiative to protect the environment.
A website was also launched on the occasion which will be providing help to the pilgrims, providing the information about the Yatra.
