Langate lawmaker appeal stakeholders to keep education away from politics


Reiterating that education is to be kept away from politics, AIP chief and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has asked for basic drastic changes in the education system so as to ensure that Kashmiris can compete all-over the world.

Addressing a function at annual day of Islamia Convent School Dedikot Kupwara on Sunday,  Er. Rasheed appealed all the stake holders to keep education away from politics so as to ensure that the huge talent of Kashmiri students is used for the betterment of society.

“While Kashmiri students have proved their worth despite passing through the worst turmoil , but they need to go through the process of transformation in the changing scientific world,” he said and added that  “not only education should fulfill the requirements of providing job to talented and qualified youth but just also promote moral and ethical values.”

He suggested that government as well as NGO’s must join hands and make it sure that the education is kept away from all sorts of disturbances.

Rasheed, spokesman said strongly advocated providing government grant to such private schools who have been operating in far flung areas and do everything to provide quality education to the children of downtrodden and violence hit families.

Er. Rasheed appealed people to find positive things in the private sector of education and restrain from criticizing such institutions which de serve like a mission in far flung areas.
