Terming the hanging of Parliament convict Afzal Guru a ‘murder of justice and law’, Lashkar Toiba has said that the struggle will continue till it reaches to its logical conclusions.

“Guru’s martyrdom is the inspiration for people of Kashmir. India cannot suppress the voices of people by these tactics.

No power can stop people of Valley from achieving right to self determination”, Lashkar Spokesman Dr Abdullah Gaznavi quoted operational Chief Mahmood Shah as having said.

Talking to local news agency KNS on phone, he said that Lashkar Toiba pays rich tributes to the Guru, adding, “India is suppressing the Muslims for their political interests. Guru was not given fair trial to prove his innocence.” said spokesman.

He said the Lashker pledged to carry out attacks to avenge Guru’s hanging.

Meanwhile United Jihad Council (UJC) has termed the hanging of Guru judicial murder and the state terrorism of India.

According to statement issued Saturday, UJC has paid tribute to the Guru. “The martyrdom of Guru will bring produce thousands of Guru in Valley”, reads the statement as having UJC Supremo Syed Salahudin said.

It has extended its support to three day strike call given by Chairman Hurriyat (G) S.A. Geelani.

Meanwhile Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen pays rich tributes to Mohammad Afzal Guru and condemned the hanging of Guru.
