In addition to targeting illegal buildings, LCMA also removed an unauthorised macadamised approach road near Boulevard as part of its enforcement measures. The authority has warned the public against engaging in unauthorised construction, stating that any illegal structures found will be demolished without prior notice.

Residents intending to undertake construction projects have been advised to obtain approval through the Online Building Permission System (OBPS) of LCMA to ensure compliance with regulations. The authority has also launched a wider initiative to identify encroachments on water channels, with clearance operations expected to commence soon.
