The prominent tourism player of Kashmir who wooed Bollywood’s who’s who in Kashmir, Nazir Bakhshi, passed away last night in Delhi.
Bakhshi, the owner of Shiraz Travels was the scion of Bakhshi clan. He is known for his role in tourism activities of valley. He has personal friends in Bollywood, including Amitabh Bachan, Yash Chopra and others.
The deceased was the former president of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
As per the family sources, Bakhshi’s Nimaz-e-Jinaza will be held at Bakhshi Manzil, Sonwarbagh, Srinagar after the Assar prayers.
