SRINAGAR: A leopard was found dead in Bonmakhama area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday morning.
Quoting an official news agency KNO reported that inhabitants of the village Bon Makhama have found a dead leopard and have informed the officials about the same.
Wildlife officials said that they have received information about the presence of a land team in the way to recovering the body from the spot.
He said the body of the leopard will be sent to veterinary Hospital Magam for post-mortem to check whether the leopard was killed or died of natural death.
