As per a police spokesperson a 10 year old boy was mauled to death by a leopard in village Karihama in Handwara.
A leopard attacked 10 years old Basit Bashir son of Bashir Ahmad Lone resident of Hayan Trehgam when he along with other children was playing in village Karihama, Wani Mohalla, Handwara. He suffered severe injuries in the attack and was shifted to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, reads a statement.
