SRINAGAR: Lashkar-e- Toiba (LeT) commander among three militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Khandipora village of Awantipora area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official said that Lashkar-e- Toiba (LeT) commander Mukhtar Bhat among three militants were killed in encounter at Khandipora village in Awantipora area of Pulwama.
Quoting sources police said he along with foreign militant was going for fidayeen attack on army camp.
He said that one AK-74 rifle, 01 AK-56 rifle and 1 pistol were recovered from their passion.

The identity of the other slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Khandipora village in Awantipora area of Pulwama.
