Pakistan has called back High Commissioner Sohail Mahmood in India for consultations following the diplomatic tensions between the two countries after the Lethpora attack.
The Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesman Dr Mohammad Faisal tweeted that the High Commissioner has left Delhi this morning.
“We have called back our High Commissioner in India for consultations,” he said.
Earlier Mahmood was on Friday summoned in Delhi by Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale who lodged a strong protest over the killing of 49 CRPF men in Pulwama.
“Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria has already been called to Delhi for consultations in the wake of the attack,” reports said.
