SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday extended Christmas greetings to the people, wishing that the festival would foster love, harmony and compassion in society.
In a message, the Lieutenant Governor said Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, reminds people of the enduring values of love, compassion and forgiveness. He said the festival provides an opportunity to renew commitment towards the welfare of one another and work collectively for a prosperous future.
The Lieutenant Governor expressed hope that the spirit of Christmas would inspire people to help those in need and contribute to peace, prosperity and happiness for all.
