SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday extended greetings to scientists, engineers and the entire space community on National Space Day, lauding their contribution to India’s progress in space exploration.
In a message posted on social media, the Lieutenant Governor said the perseverance and brilliance of India’s space community had made the country proud and strengthened the spirit of *Atmanirbhar Bharat*.
He also said the achievements of India’s scientists and engineers were inspiring the younger generation to explore new frontiers in science and space for the welfare of humanity.
Sinha’s message came on National Space Day, observed to commemorate India’s historic Chandrayaan-3 mission and its successful landing on the lunar surface.
