SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday handed over a job letter to the wife of Pahalgam terror attack victim, Syed Aadil Hussain.
LG Sinha visited the residence of Aadil, who was killed along with 25 tourists in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, in the Hapatnard area.
He later handed over the job letter to Aadil’s wife, Gulnaz Akhter, to honour his sacrifice and support the grieving family.
Speaking to reporters, the Lieutenant Governor said the visit had been planned to meet the bereaved family and provide necessary assistance.
He said the permanent job offered to the victim’s family member is meant to help them cope with the loss of their sole breadwinner. (KNO)
