SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday laid a wreath and paid tribute to BSF Sub Inspector Md Imteyaz, who was killed during unprovoked firing by Pakistan along the International Boundary in the R S Pura area of Jammu.
“Sub Inspector Md. Imteyaz made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation. His sacrifice will not be forgotten. The entire nation stands with the family of the deceased,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
Later, the Lieutenant Governor visited the family of Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Dr Raj Kumar Thapa, in Jammu.
He offered condolences to the family members and paid respects to the officer.
“Dr Thapa worked with commitment towards public service and development. My thoughts are with his family, colleagues, and others connected with him,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
