SRINAGAR: Lt Governor Manoj Sinha visited SKIMS in Srinagar to check on the health of construction workers injured in the recent militant attack in Gagangir, Ganderbal district. The workers, who were engaged in a vital infrastructure project, were targeted by militants, leaving several seriously wounded.
Sinha expressed deep concern for the victims and prayed for their swift recovery. During his visit, he spoke with medical staff to ensure that the injured were receiving the best possible care. “I pray for the swift recovery of all those injured and stand with their families in this challenging time,” Sinha said.
LG Sinha also directed district officials and hospital authorities to provide comprehensive support to the injured workers and their families. He stressed the importance of not only providing immediate medical treatment but also offering long-term assistance to help the victims and their families recover from the traumatic incident.
“No stone will be left unturned in ensuring the well-being of the affected families. The administration is committed to providing all possible help,” Sinha stated during his visit.
The attack, which has drawn widespread condemnation, occurred at a construction site where workers were involved in a key development project for the region. In response to the incident, security forces have launched a search operation to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
