Life returned to normal in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Tuesday after a complete shutdown for ten consecutive days against the killing of 13 militants and five civilians in Kashmir valley.

Reports said that shops and business establishments opened across the district and both private and public transport was on roads.

A large number of people were seen busy in purchasing different household items from the market.

Local sources said that there was no major deployment of police and paramilitary troopers in the township.
