A middle-aged man died due to lightning at Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
Locals said that Mohammed Yousuf Mir, son Abdul Aziz Mir of Bakura village of Ganderbal died due to lightning.
They that he died on the spot after lightning struck him while he was working outside his home in his paddy fields at Bakura village.
A police officer concerned, when contacted confirmed the man’s death due to the lightning.
