Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) on Wednesday exhibited solidarity with the families of Mudassir Ahmad and Sheeraz Ahmad of Parigam Kulgam and Lajoora Pulwama respectively. The families had to face a lot of trouble in attaining the dead bodies of the slain as they were made to wait for days together by the administration. The duo was killed in Tanghdar Sector by Army last month along with three more unknown youth.
While paying tributes to the martyrs JKDFP spokesperson said in a statement that unabated bloodshed is a matter of concern for every justice-loving person and JKDFP incarcerated chief Shabir Shah had time and again warned New Delhi that it must adopt political ways and measures to resolve the political dispute of Kashmir according to the wishes of the people living here.
Had New Delhi listen to the politics of resistance leaders like Shabir Shah, there would not have been bloodshed in the disputed region. The irony is that leaders like Shabir Shah have been pushed behind the bars on fake, fabricated, old and already decided case which has made the atmosphere more suffocated. If India sincerely wants to stop the ongoing bloodshed in the disputed region, it must immediately give heed to the political leadership and accept the historical perspective of the Kashmir dispute, the spokesman added.
JKDFP spokesperson said that people of Jammu Kashmir pursuing their right to self-determination are facing worst type of state “sponsored terrorism” in the disputed region especially Kashmir valley. He said that unabated killings and brutalities at the hands of the men in uniform in nook and corner are the worst forms of “state terrorism” and people are made to shoulder the dead bodies every now and then. JKDFP in its appeal to UNO, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, International Red Cross and other international organisations of human rights urged to take cognizance of rights violations and added that Kashmiris are worst sufferers.
