Mudasir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Unto Hamam Sopore joined police department in 2011. Posted at Police station Sopore, Sunday morning he was at his home.
A police official told CNS that suspected militants who first called him asking to come out of his home fired upon him which led to his on spot death.
According to Superintendent of Police Sopore, Imtiyaz Hussain, the attack was carried by local militants.
Imtiyaz told CNS that local militants killed Mudasir. “There is not a foreign militant present in the town. A few days back Sarpanch was also shot by these local militants and today they killed this SPO in cold blood,” he said.
Pertinently CNS quoting sources report that that suspected militants had warned the said SPO many times to refrain himself from indulging in ‘anti-movement’ activities.
