BARAMULLA: Lok Adalat was held today in the premises of Court Complex Baramulla in which 19 cases of various natures were settled amicably and an amount of Rs 4.05 lakh was recovered from the defaulters in various banks cases, while Rs5.00 lakh was recovered in other cases.
The Lok Adalat was supervised by Chairman District legal Services authority (Principal District & Session Judge) Baramulla, Syed Tawqeer Ahmad. The Lok Adalat comprised of two benches, 1st bench was jointly presided over by the Chairman District Legal Services Authority Baramulla and Sub-Judge Uri. The 2nd bench was presided over by the Sub-Judge Baramulla and Munsiff Baramulla.
