Mobile Internet service was suspended in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Thursday following a gunfight in Shumeriyal area of Lolab that left two militants dead.
An official said that the service was suspended to “prevent law and order situation” following the killing of militants.
Earlier police have claimed that two militants were killed in the shootout in Shumeriyal area of Lolab.
They were identified as Bilal Shah from Shart Muqam and Zahoor Ahmad from Kalaroos Kupwara., he said.
