SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma on Saturday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi and discussed issues related to security, law and order and development in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sharma also raised matters concerning the ongoing session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly during the meeting.
According to Sharma, Shah reiterated the Union Government’s commitment to peace, development and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. The Union Home Minister also assured continued support and cooperation from the Centre in addressing issues concerning the people of the Union Territory.
The meeting took place amid the ongoing Assembly session, during which matters relating to development and governance have been under discussion.
