As the Polling for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections started for the Baramulla seat on today morning at 8:00 Am, 11.43 per cent vote were cast for the first two hours.
In Jammu constituency, overall 14.12% votes were cast, 16.52% in Samba, 11.88% in Rajouri, and 12.98% in Poonch.
In Baramulla constituency of north Kashmir, the overall percentage of votes were 5.80%, Kupwara was at 7.98%, 5.97% in Bandipora and 10.24% were cast by the Migrants.
According to the official statement, the overall poll percentage in the State is 11.43% up to 9: 00 AM.
