TANGHDAR

Reiterating that Lok Sabha Election is for electing the Members of Parliament and the Prime Minister of the Country, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who is also Working President of National Conference Wednesday said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have to make a clear choice between secular representatives of the NC-Congress Coalition led by Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi and communal and divisive forces represented by BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

“While victory of NC-Congress Coalition candidates from J&K would pave way for Rahul Gandhi to be the Prime Minister of India every vote cast in favour of PDP will automatically amount to helping Narendra Modi to be in power at New Delhi”, he said adding that people of Baramulla-Kupwara-Bandipora Parliamentary constituency have to rally behind the NC-Congress candidate Sharief-ud-Din Shariq to protect the secular and democratic fabric of the State and keep communal and anti-J&K forces at bay.

Addressing election rallies in Tangdhar and Gurez Thursday, Omar Abdullah said that an elaborate conspiracy has been hatched by BJP and PDP to divide the voters in the State on one or the other pretext for their vested interests and hunger for personal power. He cautioned the people against this conspiracy and told them to exhibit their unity and faith in NC-Congress alliance stating that the NC-Congress alliance is committed to the inclusive and equitable development of the State and has been working with dedication to usher the State into an era of reconciliation, peace and prosperity.
