Machail Yatra in Kishtwar hills will start from August 1 with Chhari Mubarak in Jammu city, official sources said on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Police Chief of Jammu Zone, Rajesh Kumar has reviewed the security arrangements concerning the Machail Yatra.
Kumar yesterday visited the Machail shrine along with other police officials.
Reports said that the IGP paid obeisance to Machail Mata and also met the members of the management committee of the Machail yatra and took review of security measures, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, the first time Kousar Nag Yatra is all set to start on July 29. The environmentalists have already expressed their concern over such Yatras in the fragile areas like Machail Kishtwar and Kousar Nag Shopian.
