Massive traffic jam was witnessed Wednesday, on the airport road after a mysterious death of a local invoked protests and sit in.
Reports said that one person died and another injured in Kannipora area of the city “mysteriously” during the night. Sources said that the deceased belonged to Hyderpora whose kith and kin came on roads to protest what they called “a plain murder”.
The protests resulted in a massive traffic jam on the busy airport road where hundreds of vehicles had to wait for hours together.
Meanwhile, police officials were on the spot to pacify the situation.
The protesters were referring to some property dispute between the families of the deceased with some other family.
