M Yasin Malik

A day after Muhammad Yasin Malik, chief Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) was arrested in Batengoo Islamabad along with other pro-freedom leaders, Malik was driven home by the police at around 3 AM on Wednesday morning.

Malik told Kashmir Life, “Police dropped me home at 3AM today morning. I was continuously in pain and when I consulted an orthopaedician he confirmed that my neck has been fractured.”

On Tuesday Malik along with other pro-freedom leaders was arrested and allegedly ‘manhandled’ by the state police and CRPF when they had gone to Batengoo village of Islamabad to offer their condolences with the family of Zahid Rasool Bhat, a trucker who was attacked in Udhampur and later succumbed in New Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital.
