Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik will visit Sopore on Friday and lead a protest rally there.
“Following the call for protest given by the Mutahida Majlis-e- Mashawarat (MMM) after Friday prayers, a protest rally (March) led by chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik will be organized in Sopore town on April 26, after Friday prayers,” a statement of JKLF reads on Tuesday.
The statement added that People through this protest rally will highlight the demand for return of mortal remains of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and Mohammad Afzal Guru.
“The plight of prisoners especially lifers languishing in jails, arrest of youth, kids under black law called PSA and other human rights abuses by the Indian forces in nooks and corners of Jammu Kashmir will also be highlighted,” the statement added.
