SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a man on Wednesday for allegedly raping a minor girl in the Hamdaniya Colony area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

According to Srinagar police, Irshad Ahmad Langoo, son of Bashir Ahmed Langoo and a resident of Hamdaniya Colony, has been apprehended for the alleged rape of a minor girl.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed under IPC section 376, along with sections 5(N) and 6 of the POCSO Act at Bemina Police Station.
