A man came under a Deodar tree that he was cutting in Kandi, Kupwara and died on spot, police said on Thursday.
Abdul Ahad Lone son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Sadderpora Kandi died on spot in compartment No. 16 of Kandi jungle Kupwara, while cutting of Deodar tree.
Kupwara Police has registered a case in this regard. The body was taken to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for post mortem. After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
