SRINAGAR: A bike rider lost his life after his bike skidded off the road in the Mattan area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Thursday evening.
An official said that a bike rider received critical injuries after his bike bearing registration number JK03J/1268 skidded off the road at Chattisinghpora Mattan Anantnag.
He was shifted to GMC Associated Hospital Janglat Mandi Anantnag where he was declared dead on arrival.
He has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Akhoon son of Gh Mohammad resident of Kreeri Shangus.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KS)
