SRINAGAR: A man lost his life in a road accident in the Badasgam area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Tuesday, officials said. The accident took place in the Badasgam area of Anantnag district.
Officials said that a motorcyclist identified as Nisar Ahmad Naikoo son of Gh Qadir Naikoo resident of Nagaam Kokernag, was hit by a Tavera bearing registration number JK03E 2463.
Naikoo, a Govt servant by profession got critically injured and was referred to GMC Anantnag for treatment. However, he was declared dead by the doctors. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KS)
