One person died and another was injured in two separate road accidents in Sopore while a House and a shop were damaged in fire.
In Sopore, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05D-1360 hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohidin Sear son of Shamus Din resident of Dogar Hajan at Palpora. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
In Leh, a Tempo traveler bearing registration number HP01K/3511 met with an accident near Taklang, resulting in on spot death of driver Suraj Thakur son of Bir Singh resident of Aldd Tehsil Munali District Kullu HP. Leh police has registered a case in this regard.
A residential house and a shop were damaged in two separate fire incidents in District Kulgam and Ganderbal.
Fire broke out in a residential house belonging to Abdul Hamid Padder son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Bungam D.H.Pora, Kulgam, resulting in partial damage to the house.
In an another incident, fire broke out in a Tailor Shop belonging to Abdul Gaffar Shiekh son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Batwina Ganderbal, resulting in partial damage to the shop . Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and police.
