The body of mentally unsound, Abdul Rashid Chopan son of Lal Chopan 40 years, resident of Kanispora, Baramulla was recovered near Veerwan,a police statement said on Tuesday.
According to statement after completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of deceased was handed over to his next of kins for last rites. Baramulla Police has initiated an inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
