Kulgam Police recovered a body at a road side in suspicious circumstances at Shah Mohalla, Qazigund, police said on Wednesday.
The deceased was later identified as Noor-u-Din son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Nagrus, Qazigund. Qazigund Police has started an inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC in this regard to ascertain the cause of the death. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites after completion of all medico-legal formalities, said police spokesperson.
