A Lab technician was found hanging in Khanyar area of Srinagar District last evening, police said on Thursday.
34 years old Farooq Ahmed Bhat son of Ali Mohammad Bhat resident of Kalashpora, Srinagar was found hanging from a fan in a clinic (New Scientific Lab) at Khanyar near Gousiya Hospital Khanyar.
Police Khanyar has taken the cognizance in this regard.
After conducting all medico-legal formalities, Khanyar Police handed over the body of deceased to his relatives for last rites.
Meanwhile, a Lady (name withheld) resident of Danseera Gundipora, Budgam consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital for treatment.
